Wall of love for Pain Academy

Even though I know the body works together, I was tending to look at just the hip and just the lower back, because that was what's in pain, and I knew the left side was having some issues, but, but it's just reiterated to me that it is the whole body, and fixing the whole body is what fixes it. So that is good. Thank you.
My favorite part has been being able to move my body in positions and exercising muscles and getting in touch with muscles that haven't moved and haven't flexed in a long time, because 60% of my job is sitting and so it's actually been felt. It's been a great feeling to move those muscles.
This is legit feels like the best thing, my body wants more. I've been tripping and falling, frozen shoulder...i tend to push too hard. This feels doable and feels like it can definitely work.

As a professional bikini athlete and coach with scoliosis, I came to Pain Academy seeking solutions for my structural imbalances that cause recurring pain in my trap, lower back, hamstrings, and calves despite my body awareness. While there's certainly an aesthetic motivation in my sport, my primary goal is to train pain-free and incorporate mobility and recovery techniques that prevent these issues from compounding. I need specialized knowledge to address my 30-degree thoracic curve and left ankle instability so I can continue competing while prioritizing long-term physical wellbeing.
After years of total body pain that began with repeated ankle injuries while playing soccer in my youth, I've watched my condition worsen through my 20s and into my 30s with increasingly severe pain and deteriorating posture. I've intentionally avoided traditional practitioners who tend to hyper-focus on isolated body parts while neglecting the interconnected nature of our bodies. Now in my 30s, with rounded shoulders and a forward-leaning stance, I'm finally ready to find balance through this comprehensive whole-body approach.
Life before the program was unbearable - daily painkillers for my hip problems and constant muscle pain made walking a struggle. Remarkably, within just one week of starting, I was able to stop taking painkillers completely, and my mobility has significantly improved. Consistency has been crucial to my recovery, and I'm excited to continue my progress into a second year.
I've seen more improvement in the month of pain academy than I have with years of other modalities, such as chiropractic massage. PT, you name it, it's been impressive. I still have a ways to go. However, for the first time, I feel that I'm finally beginning to work with my body instead of against it.
I'm most excited about getting more and more involved in your program, because I think it's incredibly comprehensive. I've never seen anything quite like it in an online program. I love the idea that you include a lot of the goski principles, at least early on, and by the looks of it, you go far beyond that down the line throughout this year. So I can't wait to see all that you have to offer. In the meantime, I'm diving into the bonus materials, and they are mostly reviewed for me, but I'm so happy to get that review because it reminds me of the importance of all the steps in healing.
Advice would be to be more patient definitely, and to trust that my body can heal
I'm more aware about how I move, and less right hip pain
I've been doing the exercises regularly and am feeling positive changes and pain reduction (after a year of very little improvement before I started). It's possible that any movement program would be as helpful if I followed it daily; I can only speak to my experience here.
I do wish it were clearly indicated what the daily commitment would be each week. In phase 1, it was a very doable 15-25 minutes per session. In phase 2, the first day called for an hour. I wasn't expecting such a big jump. Knowing in advance would allow me to schedule my day more easily. (Now I just assume it'll be 30-60 minutes.)
Vinny's guidance is clear and non-judgmental. He starts with very foundational movement patterns. The routines build slowly in intensity, although every now and then there's a killer move thrown in.

After a decade of pain from herniated discs and imbalances in my hips and shoulders, I spent years trying everything from massage therapy to random online exercises without direction or lasting relief. The movement program finally gave me the scientific guidance, accountability, and daily structure I needed to understand my body's specific issues and make consistent progress. Though complete healing may take two or three years given my extensive history of improper movement patterns, I now have a sustainable path forward instead of just masking symptoms with medication—I finally see light at the end of the tunnel.
I started this program a little over a year ago. I was not in extreme pain but had nagging recurrent problems in my right shoulder. I wanted to be more flexible and noticed that i was taking longer to recover from longer hikes or trying a new activity and I sit too much and have some posture issues. I know that I need to start strength training but was afraid of injury, so after seeing ads for this program and doing the better hip challenge, I decided to give it a try. For most of the year except when I've been ill and a little for travel I did the program every day.
It moved a little fast for me. I took a little extra time to get to phase three and a whole month extra before i started phase four. Phase four was a struggle but I pushed through it and went ahead and started phase five but found it just too difficult. i was having leg cramps during the night and sore all the time so i decided to go back to phase three but with some new routines. I was happy with that until a recent three week illness that I'm still not recovered from that has left me unable to exercise, but I hope to start back in with a week or two of phase two and then back to phase three. (I did a phase one routine yesterday and logged on to do one tonight when I got the link for this review)
So this program progresses through different routines that get harder in each phase. You try out many different options and pick the ones that make you feel best and focus on those as you move to the next level interspersed with new challenges. In some ways I love this but it also narrows the range of what you work on. That's why I ended up going back and focusing on different routines from the earlier phases, to build up the parts of me that could not handle a lot fo the phase four and five work.
My shoulder was resolved within two months. I have been gaining strength and better alignment when I move. IN fact I planned to start weight training in January before this recent setback of this long lasting flu,
Many exercises are like the Egoscue method that I had used from a book to resolve back and neck pain about 12 years ago, but Vinny's videos made me understand that I was going too fast and sometimes without the right form. It is valuable to have someone model the exercise and then talk through them as you do them.
My rib cage is rotated, one should dips a bit, one foot turns out when I walk. I have made a small amount of progress on those things, not as much as I would like. I still can't hinge forward and touch the ground (which is why I can't do a lot of the exercises) but I'm about 10 inches away rather than 15. There are exercises that seemed impossible when I started that are now much more comfortable. I couldn't find my glutes at first, and it was excruciating to hold a squat for 1 minute or a wall sit for two. Now its easy. My swimming times have dropped.
Overall this program has been valuable to me and I have recommended it to others. I didn't use the coaching much at all because of the time difference and I had a few issues with losing access to the website a couple different times and with the initial order but they were resolved. I'm 60 years old and I think its very important for me to keep using this program and hopefully make it all the way to phase five this year so that I will be in a good position to maintain mobility as I age.
I would love it if there was an add one where you could send in your videos or still photos and get individual coaching. It turned out to be a little less personalized than I thought. You assess your own videos. But it is still a great program and if you are motivated to put in the work, you will see results,

The assessment reinforced my belief in this program's holistic approach, confirming that my previous treatments weren't addressing the complete picture. While I was already committed to this philosophy before starting, seeing the clarification that my issue involves more of a twist than a technical imbalance was particularly enlightening and useful.
I have scoliosis, which is mild, moderate to severe base that's acquired because of a couple of injuries that I've had. This is the approach I've been looking for. I'm very holistic, and I've had the opportunity to work with some doctors in the long past who really had a holistic approach, but after the last knee surgeries, they became very medically modeled and really focused on just my knees and not my back. So my back has gotten pretty bad. I've tried the yoga, I've tried physical therapy. I've tried a few other things, and I think he's really been that effective, and this is really the approach I've been running all along. So I'm really excited to be here.
After a super long journey with pain, I'm excited to see how Pain Academy can transform my body by improving my circulation, posture, and overall wellbeing—hopefully avoiding surgery altogether. I believe this program is exactly where I need to be to put myself in the best position to win my health battle. I'm genuinely looking forward to experiencing the results over the next four to six months and beyond, trusting that this is the path forward that was meant for me.
I have been searching for a solution to side effects of osteoarthritis for almost 10 years and finding Pain Academy has been the best solution I have found. after about 2 months of daily exercises to help determine the source of the challenges I am noticing small improvements in mobility and sometimes less pain. it is a year long program and the price is right. I highly recommend this program for anyone who has mobility challenges.

Just give it a try, what do you have to lose?
I would tell someone that it's really okay to go really slow, because what I have found in going slow is that that's where I find the nuances. That's where I find the places where I'm compensating and where I can try to relax and allow what needs to work to work. So I would tell someone to be go very slow and just become very aware of their body and what it's doing. Just get started and you will feel the changes.
My journey through this program has been a rollercoaster with incredible breakthroughs interspersed with temporary setbacks when certain movements triggered issues. Despite these challenges, I can visibly see my body becoming more aligned, particularly in my hips, and I've gained valuable knowledge about how to address problems when they arise—showing me I'm making real progress even on difficult days and motivating me to continue rather than risk regression.
I'm seeking a solution for a pelvic alignment issue, where my right side is turned in compare to the left side, it's linked to an old injury from Air Force recruit training. Despite trying various treatments including physiotherapy, chiropractic, kinesiology, massage, dry needling, Pilates, and personal training, i'm still experiencing significant pain. I'm motivated to find a lasting solution to the pain.
"After teaching spinning for 21 years, I developed severe hip and groin pain that left me barely able to walk, especially after water skiing—a condition that worsened despite trying everything from physical therapy to osteopathy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and massage. Nothing helped until I discovered this program, which finally explained the imbalances and dysfunction in my body that were causing my limited mobility. I'm genuinely excited to learn how to correct these issues myself and wholeheartedly believe in this approach to fixing my own body after years of ineffective treatments.
After struggling with hip pain that disrupts my sleep, coupled with moderate arthritis and spondylolisthesis causing sciatica, I've found some relief through Alexander Technique and Qigong but needed a more comprehensive solution. This program caught my attention not only because the pain affects my ability to sleep, but because I'm determined to walk the Camino de Santiago for my 60th birthday next year—a month-long journey I want to complete without excessive pain.
The mindset training has been crucial in calming my nervous system, creating the foundation needed to successfully work on the movement aspects of the program. By dedicating myself to both components daily, I've experienced significant progress, though it's a gradual process—like carefully navigating out of a tight parking spot with small adjustments forward and back. The entire program works together beautifully as things unwind and strengthen, making it impossible to choose just one favorite element.
After suffering from lower back and shoulder pain for years despite trying physio, chiropractic care, and regular massages, I was determined to find a solution at just 31 years old. I'm excited to try this program after seeing so many positive reviews, especially now that I understand my pain isn't isolated—it's connected to my posture, hip alignment, and other factors I never considered before. I struggle with consistency in other programs, but I'm hopeful this comprehensive approach will finally deliver the changes I've been searching for.
After a decade of debilitating chronic pain from head to toe and two hip surgeries, I refused pain management medications and desperately searched for real answers while trying countless therapies. My body had become increasingly immobile and stiff—I haven't been able to bend forward naturally in 10 years despite trying everything possible. I'm most excited about this program's potential to help me move better, feel better, and finally grow old gracefully after years of suffering.
